    The :90 second video was not intended to be a complete tutorial on the installation of cork flooring. To do that, one would need 30 minutes. :-)
    I can tell you that there is not one crack in my Varathane finish on any part of my cork floor/steps. I have well over 1,500 sq ft, and many places have had impact events.

    unfortunately he doesn’t mention prepping the floor- the floor needs to be really smooth- with an underlayment-grade board or a cement-based skim coat. Also, for a professional job, save the varathane for wood projects and use a varnish especially formulated for use on cork floors. A flexible cork varnish won’t crack on impact like a wood varnish can.
